Welcome to Harvest Worship Center!
Here you will find information concerning our church and its ministries. We hope you find your time spent here a blessing. Our church is a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our fellowship.
If you are considering a new place of worship or a relocation to our area, we would love to have you be our guest.
In His Care,
Pastor Ron Hodges
Just as blessing could not be given to Esau because he was not interested in his birthright, so, too, we cannot despise our birthright if we expect to receive the blessing of our heavenly Father. If we don’t see the need to be born again, the blessings will not be bestowed. Like Esau, we can try to gain the blessings of God with tears, by futilely trying to keep the law given on Mount Sinai, or we could go to Mount Zion, the heavenly mountain, the city of the Living God, and enter in to the New Covenant. We invite you to join us this Sunday, August 2nd, at Harvest Worship Center, as our missionary's to Mexico, Ron and Terry Swearingin minister from the book of Hebrews the 12th chapter.
The Women of Faith are starting a new casual ladies meeting focused more on studying the Word, or having conversations that encourages the ladies and draws them closer to God. They will be meeting every 4th Sunday at Harvest's front foyer, sitting area, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm starting Sunday July 26th. Charlene Cox will lead the group with Grace Frimpong in a supporting role.
The seminar that was given to start "Family Builders" is available at the urls below. This two part teaching talks about the foundations for marriage, reasons for marriage problems, the seasons of marriage, and how to overcome marriage problems. It also provides a basis for why marriage should be built deliberately and calls for Christians to not accept "good enough" but rather to expect "all God has promised." Just copy these addresses into your browser, click, and you can listen to the teaching.
The ability for people to place comments on websites is very popular, as everyone likes to express themselves and also to read feedback from others. The sermon page of our website has this capability. If you have heard a sermon you really like, or would be willing to listen and comment on some, go ahead and take advantage and have at it. Let's have some fun discussing your favorites.
